A Canadian model known for her extreme plastic surgery journey has faced a shocking setback after one of her massive breast implants burst. Mary Magdalene, 30, who has invested over $100,000 in surgeries, has endured severe complications and life-threatening moments on the operating table. Her relentless pursuit of transformation has also led to debilitating back pain, necessitating the use of a wheelchair.
In her latest challenge, one of her 5000cc implants exploded, resulting in an unusual and distressing appearance with an asymmetrical, deflated breast.
While it’s unclear what caused the 38J implant to pop, some fans are speculating Mary may have over-filled it using an expander.
Expanders are components of certain implants that allow patients to adjust the volume with saline using a needle and port.
“My implant burst—again,” said the Toronto resident, who plans to have both implants removed in surgery scheduled for next week.
Mary sees the incident as a sign to start embracing a more natural look after a decade of body transformations through surgery.
“I’m going to return to a natural appearance, not just with my breasts but with other parts of my body as well,” she shared with her 163,000 Instagram followers.
She also mentioned during a livestream that she didn’t experience pain when the implant burst, only realizing what had happened when she heard a ‘pop’.
In the meantime, the OnlyFans personality said she was making the most of her ‘uniboob’ phase and even likened her appearance to an ‘alien’.
Fans were quick to express their concern in the comments section.
“Your body is literally telling you to stop,” one worried follower commented, while another suggested, “Please remove them. You’ll experience a lot less pain.”
“I say remove them… leave your body alone,” a third person advised.
Another urged, “Go get that fixed… that isn’t healthy!” and a particularly anxious fan remarked, “You’re lucky you’re still alive.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?” asked another concerned follower.
While many fans were worried about the impact of the burst implant, some with experience in breast augmentations reassured that she would be fine.
